About Us
Soul Wav is an audio wellness studio designed to help modern professionals focus deeply, unwind fully, and sleep more consistently through intentional sound.
- We are not a clinical service.
- We are not a productivity hack.
- We are not an AI-generated sound machine.
We are a structured, design-led approach to using sound as a daily practice.
Where We Are Now
Today, Soul Wav exists as:
- A podcast and long-form SoundCast series
-
A YouTube streaming channel for ambient focus and sleep audio
-
A Substack publication exploring sound, sleep, and creative wellness
-
A growing web presence experimenting with lightweight session tracking
We are in an active validation and refinement phase — listening carefully, studying behavioral patterns, and shaping our framework intentionally. We are building with patience and clarity.
What Makes Soul Wav Different
Soul Wav begins with sound design, not algorithms.
Created by an experienced audio professional, each session is a structured environment — not passive background noise. Every soundscape is intentionally composed around one of three core states:
Focus
Steady, rhythmic environments designed to reduce distraction and support sustained attention.
Relax
Gentle, spacious sound textures that soften mental intensity and support downshifting after high cognitive load.
Sleep
Slow, minimal environments designed to encourage consistency around bedtime and wind-down routines.
We operate within a clear constraint:
Three states. One daily framework. Repeatable structure.
Simplicity builds consistency.
Consistency builds stability.
Our Philosophy
Sound is one of the most immediate tools we have for nervous system regulation.
Long before language, sound shaped human attention, emotion, and safety. Today, our environments are often visually overloaded and cognitively demanding. Sound can help counterbalance that load.
Intentional audio can:
- Support sustained attention by reducing environmental variability
-
Ease transitions between high stimulation and rest
-
Create predictable cues that signal the body to shift states
Soul Wav is built on the belief that sound is not background, it is infrastructure.
When used consistently, structured sound can support everyday regulation without complexity or overwhelm.

Meet The Founder
My journey in audio began over 20 years ago when I was in high school. I saved $300 from an after-school job to buy a Boss DR-5 drum machine and started creating beats for local artists. That early curiosity led to a part-time role editing mixtapes and commercial audio at a marketing company and eventually to formal education. I enrolled in Barton College’s audio program before transferring to Berklee College of Music, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Music Production and Sound Design, graduating summa cum laude.
In 2022, I launched Future Soundwave, an audio production company that now serves as the parent company to Soul Wav. While working professionally in audio, I began to feel that my contribution could be more purpose-driven. In 2023, I started studying sound therapy and music therapy principles, researching how sound affects attention, emotional regulation, and rest. By late 2024, after extensive experimentation and research, I made a focused decision. Instead of trying to do everything with sound, I would concentrate on supporting three core human needs: focusing, relaxing, and sleeping.
In January 2025, I began creating long-form sound podcasts for sleep, meditation, and focus. Through this process, I gathered meaningful data and analytics about listener behavior, including what people return to, what helps them stay present, and what quietly supports rest. By mid-2025, I started developing the Soul Wav app to bring these ideas into a more intentional and interactive space. After months of iteration, testing, and trial and error, I now have a working prototype available to the public.
